River is an Australian Shepherd and the reason this whole thing exists. She is meticulous, focused, and takes an unreasonable amount of pride in a clean yard. She does not cut corners. She does not have off days. She has never once looked at a messy yard and thought "good enough."

Yes, she's an Aussie. No, she's not a retriever. That's the joke. She's aware of it and she's fine.

River sets the standard for every property we service. The whole operation is built around one question — would River approve? If not, we're not done.

We started The Brown Retriever because we believe the people who show up at your home every week should actually care — about your yard, your dog, and your family.

This isn't a franchise. We live in Groveland. We drive these roads. We know these neighborhoods. When we built this business we built it for the people around us — neighbors who have dogs, busy lives, and yards that deserve better.
